History
The company originated in 1994 as a contracting business handling cleanup and repairs in southern Florida after Hurricane Andrew. Following the relocation of company headquarters to Charlotte, NC, the AdvantaClean brand was established. A pilot franchise program was initiated in 2000 and made available to the general public in 2008. Since 2007, the company has been headquartered in Huntersville, North Carolina.

AdvantaClean Foundation
AdvantaClean is one of 65 National Partners with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in order to help the world understand, treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. AdvantaClean has been doing charitable partnerships at the regional level since 2008. Franchisees have provided free services, such as mold removal and water damage restoration, as a way to give back to the communities they serve. Also, through partnerships with local hospitals, they have been able to provide free residential cleanup and repair services to families who have children with cancer and weakened immune systems. The partnership with St. Jude is the brand's first national cause marketing partnership that aligns franchisees across the country.
Headquarters and Training Facility
AdvantaClean's North Carolina headquarters includes a centralized 24-hour customer care center and a 22,000-square-foot (2,000 m2) training facility located on a 5-acre (20,000 m2) campus. The training center includes a 1,700-square-foot (160 m2) house for hands-on training and full-scale simulations. Franchisees participate in continuing education by attending bi-weekly webinars hosted by AdvantaClean's home office training staff.
